Margot has been practicing law since being admitted to the French bar on February 7, 2018, Maître Schoellkopf has dual expertise in public law and immigration law.

She founded Schoellkopf Law Firm in January 2023 after working in various business law firms in Paris for five years.

​

Margot advises companies on hiring highly talented executives from foreign countries and manages their installation, integration and residency in France.

​

She provides her clients with expertise in labor law and the legal status of foreign nationals to obtain initial residence permits and their renewals within optimal timeframes. Her institutional knowledge allows her to facilitate her clients’ visa applications (short- and long-stay) before the French Consulate in their country of residence.

She also practices nationality law and advises clients on naturalization and nationality declaration procedures.

Margot regularly participates in the Paris Bar’s solidarity legal aid clinics to promote access to justice and to deepen her understanding of systemic issues in the French immigration system.

​

After graduating from law school, she contributed two years of service to the weekly legal clinics organized by the non-profit group La Cimade, which supports migrants and asylum seekers in France.
